Cook Guidelines
Simple rules that keep your kitchen safe, your diners happy, and your reputation glowing.
Food Safety First
All cooks must follow local food-safety regulations. Keep hot foods hot, cold foods cold, and label every allergen clearly. When in doubt, throw it out.
Temperature & storage
Refrigerate prepared meals within 2 hours. Deliver hot meals at 140°F or above. Use insulated bags for transport.
Allergen transparency
List every major allergen present in your dish: dairy, eggs, nuts, soy, wheat, fish, shellfish. When a diner asks, answer honestly.
Accurate listings
Your photos should match what you serve. Your availability should match what you can fulfill. Cancel only in true emergencies.
Respect dietary needs
If a diner requests halal, kosher, vegan, or gluten-free, only accept the order if you can meet the requirement with confidence.
